Quotes and thoughs about the book Envy byAnna Godbersen
This is the third book in the Luxe series and yet it don't loss my intrest as some have. There is always somethig left to be found out and things to be said that would make you laugh. An example is in the begaining of the book at a ball that Mr. Henry Shoonmaker and his new Bride Mrs. Penelope Shoonmaker attended when she asked him if he had dranken to much he replied "I've had alot, but not enoughto make me want to spend the evening with you, my dear." To understand it you have to read the book, but it made me laugh so hard. Henry has some of the best lines in the book, and his counterpart Dianna Holland has some good come backs for what he says, at one point he says that he doesn't love his wife and she replies, "You certainly have all New York fooled,".
These characters make the story what it is, she writes her characters othat they fit the story, but yet it is like you are there when you are reading it. Like you are in the room and see what is going on. I can't say that this is the best book I have read ever, but I can say that this is the best book series that I have read in a long time.
